Getting the best van for your business

So, you may have just started a new business or it’s expanding and you need a good value, reliable quality van (or fleet) but where to start?
First things first, size matters. Think about what equipment, tools or products you will need to carry in it at any one time and then secondly with that in mind, weight, you need to make sure you can legally carry it all. Once you have that sorted, then it basically comes down to your individual preference of manufacturer, engine power and extras in the cab such as Bluetooth and Sat Nav.

All of our lease vans are available for sale and any type of finance – including Leasing of course. Below I have selected what I think are the best small, medium and large vans available at the moment:

Citroen Berlingo
is one of the most efficient small vans in its class offering a half-height steel bulkhead, with removable panels, which work in conjunction with the Extenso seat, increasing length of the load bay from 1,800mm to 3,000mm

Ford Transit Custom was a welcome ‘medium’ edition to the Transit family and was the first commercial vehicle to be awarded a maximum five-star Euro NCAP safety rating. With a load-through facility so longer loads can slide under the front passenger seat, even in the shorter version of the van.

And if you are looking for a large van then the number 1 top seller is the classic Ford Transit. It deserves to hold its 5 star rating, with new features including LED lighting and tough plastic load coverings and is a surprisingly easy van to drive, despite the size.

There are many other van manufacturers in this range (including the very popular Mercedes Sprinter) – but the Transit is top of the list in terms of value for money.

One of the most common questions I get asked for van lease is can I have graphics on a lease van? Yes you can, as long as they get removed prior to handing back. You can even wrap the whole vehicle in graphics so it is a huge advert! Then at the end just peel off the whole thing and the van is as good as new underneath.
